Marine energy and decarbonization technology companies, express your interest in participating in the first innovation challenge offered through the BC Marine Energy and Decarbonization Hub: Decarbonizing Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) land-based remote operational sites. The Hub is a core initiative of COAST in partnership with the University of Victoria (UVic). Read more about the hub here.
Who should apply? Companies with technologies relevant to addressing the Canadian Coast Guard’s challenge — the decarbonization of land-based remote operational sites — are welcome to submit a short Expression of Interest. All respondents will be the first to receive the official program application when it is released in early Fall. This challenge is set to commence in January 2026.
What is involved? Successful applicants will deploy their technologies through the Hub’s testing and demonstration sites to demonstrate to the Canadian Coast Guard that the technology can meet the objectives of the challenge while keeping within the CCG operational needs.
